Here is the very scarce "Head First" album that was released on 2 short CDs on the Artisan / Snapper label, cat. no. SMADD 829, issued 2000, combined here on 1 CD. I have had Disc 1 for years, and recently Disc 2 was kindly supplied by a colleague. Tracks 1-10 are the last album Badfinger recorded before the principal members took their own lives.

All the material required phase correction. A couple of the songs on D1 were a hair flat, and were adjusted to A=440. Most of the songs on D2 were sharp or flat to some degree, and adjusted to match. It sounds really nice now. According to reviews of other CDs with the same material, some of them sound bad, but the sound on this CD is pristine studio quality for the first 10 tracks, then excellent quality mono home demo tapes for the rest.
