This was originally upped by tranehead at Dime at January 3, 2008 (still up there, though not seeded at the moment: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=177557) but with Gardening At Night and 9-9 left off due to Dime policy, both tracks have been released on the (Don't Go Back To) Rockville 12", I.R.S. label, catalogue # IRSX107 (scan included).

Tranehead's comments:

"Got this many moons ago from a guy that worked with the band...they used 2 songs on a UK 12" so i had to leave those off.
Ive sat on this for a long time...playing it for a few and teasing others(!) but never copying...i always thought it would just turn up.......so what the f***...as Keith would say, "let the tigers run free"...(no pun intended SF folks...)
I know i have another copy of this show with the complete end but it could be lost to the ages...so at least we have this.
a strangely compelling show!! much longer than anything ive seen listed for this gig...but...can't argue with the taped evidence! the crowd seems almost antagonistic...!!
note: the 12" version says "recorded in mono" in the credits, but this tapes sounds stereo...???
((((anyone with a =scope??...)))

dedicated to all the old timers...from the day. kennedy inclusive!

Viva Scarselli!"

Then it's been upped the same day here by maggie7 (http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/showthread.php?t=51229), with Gardening At Night and 9-9 included.

The middle section of the show (with Gardening and 9-9) was all messed up though, bits and pieces all over the place, while 20th Century Boy was split into 2 tracks with a 1:07 overlap.

Here's what I did to make this show flow as smoothly as possible (with thanks to a couple of people who posted on maggie7's thread):

- Assembled all the bits and pieces of Gardening At Night and 9-9, edited and put in the right sequence
- Removed a 5 seconds dropout at the end of Gardening At Night
- Removed a 1 second repeat/dropout at the end of Just A Touch
- Removed 1 minute 7 seconds overlap between the 2 parts of 20th Century Boy
- Fixed sector boundary errors with SHN Tool
- Appended wavs
- Retracked
- Encoded to flac 8 with Flac Frontend

Now, coming back to tranehead's original question: this is indeed a mono recording but transferred to 2 channel stereo somewhere along the line which explains why he thinks it sounds stereo. After Pale Blue Eyes, before the 1st encore where there is a cut, I suppose there's been a Reel change (as opposed to the middle of 20th Century Boy as noted in the original info txt), the sound changes, going off center to the left channel which corrects itself a bit later on but never gets back to being the same as where it was before the cut. The levels are overdriven here and there which results in clipping, especially noticable on Catapult. Notice too that due to tape damage at the fixed dropouts/repeats the sound changes a bit here and there and that I was unable to do something about the dropout at the end of Sitting Still. In my opinion the sound changes don't interfere with the flow of the show too much. I did the best I can do, I hope you will find this to be an improvement.

I've included a ticket scan of the show which a member of Dime was so kind to supply.
