Notes:
This is the 89th upload of my concerts collection recorded in Lyon (France) between 1982-1990.
All my concerts were recording for Radio-Bellevue and Zap FM, so we have had some technical easynesses to record these shows.
The GODFATHERS were recorded for Radio-France Bordeaux-Gironde at the "Festival de Blaye" and it was a pre FM recording.
This live was recorded on a totally independant 24 channel tracks desk + sound effects + ambiance mikes mixed on SONY TCD5M tape recorder (i had always my Sony with me, even on holidays...)
Didier was the sound engineer for the Radio-France live recordings
and we worked together from the afternoon till late in the night to record all the bands (Barrence Whitfield, That Petrol Emotion, ....)
This festival took place in the "Citadelle de Blaye", 60 km in the north of Bordeaux along the Garonne river.
This huge lines of fortified walls (23 ha) was built by Vauban (Louis XIV minister) in the 17th. It was built to defend Bordeaux from english invasion by sea......
The Radio-France mobile was installed in a big van backstage under the walls shadows (see photo in comments...)..
100% analog recording made in total full stereo especially on guitars......enjoy them Dime folks !!
no artwork
