The audience recording (mono with Sony TC 150 cassette recorder, probably with a cardioid condenser Phonia UMC70 mic) is part of my"NOBHTF" series (Not Outstanding But Hard To Find ...).
This is the first upload from my master but i think my friend Philippe (finkployd49 here) upped it years ago from a 1st gen copy.
Johnny (with John Paris on bass) played at le Palace on april 26th and then for the Chorus TV show, 2 days later (J GEILS BAND followed). Same month they did a Rockpalast night.
It was a relaxed 1 hour set featuring a beautiful Mississippi blues long version.
The 3 bonus FM tracks added are from Johnny Winter appearences at the Nice jazz festival on july 1979: he played with the Muddy Waters band (10-11) and the BB King band (12) but i don't know on what day it was. Sound is exc.
