A day before the concert one of VPRO's reporters went to the Hotel Wiechman in Amsterdam to do an interview with Steve Miller.

The hotel was in the middle of a renovation and reporter Wim Noordhoek found Steve Miller downstairs in the bar with the carpenters. He switched on his recorder and the result was the following.
