Notes:

This show is probably one of the most popular and heavily released by both fans and bootleggers alike.

I've never really been a huge fan of this particular show from the U.S 73 tour, I personally feel that this show was sort of rushed by Plant and featured some very slugglish and sloppy playing from Jimmy (possibly due to touring fatigue) compared to other peformances from this tour (i.e: New Orleans, Inglewood, San Francisco, Detroit), I've had a few requests from friends who have asked us to our hand at remastering it, so hopefully they'll enjoy the work we've done.

I will say that this performance has an excellent rhythmn section to it, Bonham and Jones are really on tonight, playing and feeding off each others energy and holding their own against Plant's vocals and Jimmys guitar.

What we've done to make this project:

- We've tried to bring out instruments that were originally buried in the raw tape source (low end and drum fills), and balance the instruments as best we could.

- We've tried to bring out things that were originally buried in the raw soundboard tape (i.e: cheers from the audience, commentary on stage, clapping) to make the recording sound less flat and more open.

- We've given the recording a gentle volume boost, we hope that it isn't too loud for everyone here.

Highlights Of This Are:

- Celebration Day
- The Song Remains The Same
- Dazed And Confused

In regards to the title:

The title comes from an old period song called "Shuffle Off To Buffalo".

We had a few other ideas for titles, some had already been taken like "Slaughtering Buffalo", and others hadn't, like "Buffalo Soldiers", but in the end, we decided on "Shuffle Off To Buffalo" because it makes a decent reference to the city where the show takes place and kind of describes the overall mood of the performance.

Hope everyone here will enjoy this.

Cheers!
