Beatles 3 LP set "Away With Words" soundtrack
Vinyl>CDR transfer

***********************************
Side A - Track 1
Tooti fruiti
Back In The Jungle
Shee bop
Fever
The Great Pretender
Duke of Earl
Let's Go To the Hop
Blue Moon
The Wanderer
Love Me Tender
(These are mainly 5 second snippets of each song at the beginning of the film. They are probably the songs that influenced the young Beatles. These are the ones listed on the cover sheet but there are 2 or 3 more for every one listed)

LIVE FROM SHEA STADIUM (Shea is very poor quality)
Dizzy Miss Lizzy
Ticket to ride
Help
Act Naturally
***********************************
Side B - Track 2
Eleanor Rigby
Scottish Lock (actually it is Norwegian Wood)
Paperback Writer
Sgt. Pepper
Little Help
Good Morning (about 5-10 seconds long)
When I'm Sixty Four
(Within You Without You - cover sheet doesn't show this song)
***********************************
Side C - Track 3
Magical Mystery Tour
Fool on the Hill
Rhymes and Lessons (actually Glass Onion)
Instrumental (actually Flying)
Here Comes The Sun
Lucy in the Sky
***********************************

My Sweet Lord
Nowhere Man (about 16 seconds long)
Revolution
Forgotten lyrics (John saying he forgot the bits in between but knows the chorus - about 5 seconds long)
Give Peace a Chance
Gimme a Dime (actually Give Me Love)
All You Need
Strawberry Fields
***********************************
Side E - Track 5
Yesterday
Ain't No Cherry (actually Ballad of John & Yoko)
Hey Jude--Live (Live? It is blended into the next track so you don't hear applause - might be from the TV performance)
Let It Be (Possibly the same info as the Hey Jude track)
***********************************
Side F - Track 6
John: Wight Perceptions
Paul: Mommy Don't Want None - 2 revolting (actually Teddy Boy)
George: I'll Do Anything

Comment from the ripper:

I am in the process of transferring some of my vinyl bootlegs into CDR format. I recently completed the Beatles 3 LP set "Away With Words" soundtrack because I've never seen it on CD. I was told a few years ago that only a fool would do it so I stepped up to the plate.

The recording itself was OK for early 70's technology but kind of rough in present day digital times. I make my transfers sound exactly like the vinyl so these are not remastered other than I try to eliminate pops and clicks. Dr. E*** has nothing to fear from me.
What you hear is exactly the way the LPs I have sound.

I know that everything on this set has been released in far better quality but this is the original 3 LP set.

The recording I made is exactly how it is set up on the LPs themselves. Each of the six sides were one track so I recorded them the same way. I have it on two CDRs with Sides A-D on disc 1 and Sides E & F on disc 2. I also took a photo of the cheap cover sheet (no fancy artwork with this). The cover sheet is basically a 12" x 12" very light green piece of paper with a photo of The Beatles printed on it. The photo is B&W but it looks more black & green because of the color of the paper. The photo was taken full size at 8MP on my camera for greater detail and may have to be resized if you wanted to use it in CD size. The discs simply have a letter above the hole in the LP and below the hole it states "Kingston, Jamica W.I." with Jamaica spelled wrong. The label itself is dark red with all the writing in silver. It came in a glossy black box without any writing on it and that is the reason for the cover sheet.

This is really a recording for someone who has to have everything released. If you are looking for fantastic quality, this isn't for you. It is however something no one bothered to transfer over from vinyl and I would like to offer it here first.

Again, this isn't a Dr. E*** quality release but it does sound exactly like the vinyl release.
