Phew! Rock & Roll anecdote: In the early 80s the singer-songwriter-comedian-
entertainer-allroundgoodbloke Richard Digance presented a 1 hour show on Capital
radio which featured all sorts of - usually folk - artists. In 1980 these were
recorded in front of a live audience but later the show dispensed with the audience.
A very good friend of mine used to cut Richard's hair on a regular basis and as a
direct result he was invited to the live shows and attended many - but more importantly
he recorded almost every single subsequent broadcast - at least 200 shows.

This compilation gathers the appearances on the show in 1980 by Richard & Linda
Thompson together - for the sake of completeness - three contemporaneous performances
of relevance. I am not sure whether these are broadcast or recording dates.

I have made tape copies before but this is a digital first. Small amounts of
interference at times present on master tapes and quality wavers at times. I
have indexed the first intro for each show but subsequent chatter has been left at
the end of each song.
