Notes

CHANGES TO THIS EDITION:

- missing guitar notes restored to trk 3 at 37 seconds
- tweaks to trk 26
- trks 46, 48, 50 upgraded from new unbooted tape
- trk 53 eq tweaked

This edition is made possible by the recent recovery of an off-air tape of Pop Go The Beatles episode 12. Unfortunately it doesn't include the
first song or any of the chat, but it does provide a huge upgrade in quality for tracks 46 and 48 and, to a lesser extent, trk 50. It also contains
'Honey Don't' which sounds identical to the official release but with some dropouts (so I didn't use it), and 'Roll Over Beethoven'. That track
is incomplete, but it did provide a useful reference to enable me to adjust the EQ of the recording used on the previous edition. I was pleased
to find that my original guess at the correct EQ was almost exactly right, so only a tiny increase in midrange was needed.

I've also included (in the main folder) an alternate off-air recording of Long Tall Sally (trk 3). This has a slightly 'airier' open ambience,
although my own feeling is that the ambience is exaggerated by the 'squashing' of the dynamics resulting from the tape being recorded at too
high a level. However I've tidied it up and presented it here for those who like it.

Don't forget to check the 'Coming Soon' file!

The artwork is unchanged bar the front cover.

If you share this disc, please make sure it is clearly labelled 'Second edition' to distinguish it from the original.
