# Sympathy For The Devil This first track blew me away, Ob Springsteen: " I was mose kneeling for the ....." Where's the rest of this tape !!!!!!!! They only just did SHAKE YOUR HIPS with Paris 23/1970 on it and this track on FTV kicks its ass. I thought recordings like this from 1970 were non-existant !! Its' not a perfect or crystal soundboard, maybe I'm getting too excited but its DEFINETLY a SOLID STEP FORWARD from the Identical song on SHAKE YOUR HIPS. The best recording I've heard from 1970. obJohn Carr : "What's you guys waitin' for? An invitation -- well, you just got one. Now, let's get with it!" I'm gonna put a WAV file on the web of this track, so you can judge for yourself.

# Roll Over Beethoven Usual 1970 audience recording, probably a sample of what's on the new MADE IN SWEDEN 1970 3cd set.

# Bitch

# Wild Horses These are audience recordings, I think I've heard better soundboard tracks of this on a Boot LP called TUSK. I can't remember if it's the same show though.

# Jumping Jack Flash A nice 1972 audience recording.

# Brown Sugar

# Street Fighting Man Some more great 1972 Audience recordings .... luuuv leey.

# Brown Sugar

# Gimme Shelter Taken from a TV broadcast source ?? Soundboard but not the greatest.

# Bitch

# Sweet Virginia These identical tracks appear on an earlier VGP CD 100 YEARS AGO. see description #1 .... the sound on these songs is 200% better than the previously released CD. Kind of like the improvement on SAN DIEGO 69 on IT'S NO HANGING MATTER.

# Tumbling Dice The famous "aint security version". Wow - this one is interesting here, kind of reminded me of the ALTAMONT CD. The Stones are cruising along playing Tumbling Dice, during the song Jagger starts singing/shouting/saying "hey you", "hey you", "hey you" but then continues on. The song is then stopped not long after there's some shit happening in the audience with security and here's what's said: (quote from Words of Wonder p131) "...yeah, hey, hey, hey you, hey you Sergeant, Sergeant, Sergeant, you just come up here, Sergeant, we love you too, baby..." Song broken off - then at the at the end of the song: "...thankyou, thankyou very much very much. There's just one thing I'd like to say to security guards. Just Lay off, will ya ?... a good time. Its your show, its our show, it ain't no security show."

Various live '70-'73; 58 min; varies; "From the Vaults"
This is a compilation of various live performances and the quality varies
widely, from 5.5 to 9.0. Starts off with an amazing incomplete recording of
"Sympathy" from Paris 9/23/70, which is by far the best soundboard recording
of 1969 or 1970. Where's the rest??? It's all downhill after that, but worth
getting anyway as it includes the two Dick Cavett show '72 tracks and the
Montreal '72 newsreel audio in fine quality. There are also two songs from
the Vienna '73 audience tape in best ever quality. Lesser tracks are various
audience recordings, and '73 German TV tracks which can be heard on "MT We
Thank You" (see below) in better quality.
