The Dolls and Blue Oyster Cult in Kansas! BOC headlined (see ticket stubs), but surprisingly, there is tons of applause for the Dolls, and you can hear Johnny's name being shouted from the audience. I have never seen this show posted anywhere before, so you can thank our Irish Hurricane for this! Not a bad audience recording...you can hear all the words quite clearly, which is all you can ask from a 1974 Dolls audience recording! Very little tape hiss. I am guessing this is from a very low-generation (master?!) tape. A solid B+.

Very good show with great playing all around - nothing sloppy here! Syl takes lead vocals on the "Frogman" cover. With Thunders leading on "Chatterbox," that means DJ was playing second-fiddle for damn near 20% of the show! Now THAT is truly a rarity. The bass really pumps out during Chatterbox, almost bleeding over the rest of the recording. I am betting that is Buddy Bowser on the sax.
