1.5% slower compared exactly to the MFSL edition
This is a vinyl rip I did of Nirvana's Nevermind album. It's the German re-pressing by Universal with the catalogue number 424 425-1, also described as the holy grail version of this album (confer: the Steve Hoffman forums). It was mastered by Willem Makkee in 2001 from the original mastertapes, unlike basically all other versions of the album (CD, original vinyl, MFSL editions), so this version has more bottom end and is far less dynamically compressed. This version of the album doesn't include Endless, Nameless.
The rip is in 24-bit/44.1 kHz .flac. (I ripped with 96k, but there isn't any info above 44.1 on any of the songs, so I downsampled.) There's no post-editing by me except for putting the songs through WaveGain*. That means that there's some crackle and pops, basically because I have no idea how to fix those. If anyone feels inclined to improve on this, let me know. There are about 5 really malevolent pops (3 on the first track, 2 on Polly), but mostly the record plays well.
Equip: Yamaha P-520 turntable, DK-DNN239 stylus, Sony LBT-A190 tower, a stereo cable, Conexant HD Audio sound card, Audacity.
