This recording was made well into the P2 tour, by which time Adrian Belew completely dominated the stage with his patter, hijinx, and even songs. Maybe there were complaints that the P2 shows were too short, so they decided to add filler?

I always had trouble taping at the Somerville Theatre, but the sound on this one is near perfect. The performance is nice enough (in spite of AB), but what really gives me chills is the sound of my ex-wife laughing. I wonder if there's a filter for that...
