Notes

One of These Mornings was recorded in 1962 at J.B. Lenoir's Chicago home. Willie Dixon recorded these tunes as an audition tape with the intention of getting Lenoir on the burgeoning European blues packages. These 16 tracks, amazing as they are, are better suited to the hardcore collector due to poor sound quality. While Dixon doesn't play bass on any of these tracks, his presence is felt throughout by the occasional background vocals and just hanging out and talking while the tape rolled. The only other musician involved is Fred Below, who plays drums on "God's Word."
