Geetarz Comments:

There are at least three versions of this in circulation ... this original (previously hoarded) version, the Mid Valley release which "broke" the show into circulation (MVR-300, "Speed Freaks"), and a "fan remaster" version that has some more aggressive noise and hiss reduction.

In the end, they're your ears, and you should choose which version *you* prefer.

This original source is pretty low in average volume, with some of the attendant hiss and noise one would expect. Frankly, if you're asking me ... most people will prefer one of the aforementioned "remastered" versions, and find them more listenable.

Still, there are those who like to have the "original", and for those folks, here you go.

I won't get into the backstory of this particular recording, but just given the fact that there was a lot of "controversy" about it, when one listens you'll have to ask youself "why?". Anyone who gets really bent out of shape because of the distribution of an Audience recording of this quality - no matter how rare and/or unique - has real issues that should be handled only by a psychiatric professional!

Beyond those comments, I am not at liberty to further discuss the source of this particular version ... proceed as you will.

CD-R > LiteOn iHAP 322 > EAC v. 0.99 Prebeta 5 (Secure, Offset Correct) > FLAC

Checksums, info file, and EAC logs included.

Enjoy!
