Equipment:

Custom KAB Technics SL-1200 MK2 with the following mods:

- Cardas Tonearm rewire
- KAB Fluid Dampener
- Heavy audiophile rubber mat

KAB Ortofon S30 (an Ortofon Concorde DJ cartridge body with an OM30 audiophile stylus)
Cambridge 640P Preamp
Mogami Interconnects
EMU 0202 USB


Cleaning:

1. Apply Phoenix cleaning fluid w/ enzymes and scrub with Mobile Fidelity brush
2. Steam #1 with McCulloch steamer and wipe clean
3. Steam #2 Rinse with RO/DI water
4. Dry with microfiber cloth
5. Air dry on drying rack
6. Dry brush with Hunt EDA prior to needledrop to remove last bits of dust


Capture:

1. Capture entire side in 32bit - 192khz with Audacity (this will change, as Clickrepair can't process 192khz)
2. Resample side to 16/44 with Adobe Audition using maximum quality settings
3. Run Clickrepair with settings: Clickrepair 10/Decrackle 0, Wavlet x3 in reverse
4. Amplify to -0.1 db by side
5. Cut sides into individual tracks / remove gaps
6. Manual click repair in spectral view


Release Notes:

This is a mint first pressing of GNR Lies that I acquired from a woman in my development. It sounds sublime, and better than the MFSL CD in that
the top end response is much clearer and lacks the muddy bottom end amplification of their remaster. You may agree, you may not...
