A six-song, 12-inch EP that gathers both sides of their first three singles (the fourth single couldn't be licensed). Echoes of the Stones, Pretty Things, and Who abound on these tracks, which rock out but don't establish an identifiable or original style. Includes three Ron Wood originals, as well as covers of Eddie Holland's "Leaving Here" (also part of the Who's repertoire at the time), Marvin Gaye's "No Good Without You," and Bo Diddley's "You Don't Love Me." The excellent liner notes refer, frustratingly, to several other unissued sides that could not be obtained for release on this collection. Their fourth single, an unexceptional effort released under the name Bird's Birds, can be found on the obscure compilation reissue Nowhere Men.
