This show comes from a great but short lived series that ran on ABC-TV circa 1973-75. Since this is way before stereo TV, you could watch the visual portion on TV, and they would simulcast on certain FM stations the stereo sound. While the sound and mixes are primitive by today's standards, they weren't too bad for the times.

This is URIAH HEEP promoting the release of their SWEET FREEDOM album. A MOTT THE HOOPLE site claims that MOTT was also on this billing, and if true, it would make the date of the show August 22, 1973, which makes sense.
