Notes:

- Given RE's troubled past and the fact that the new album is pretty
light-weight, I wasn't expecting much from this show. In fact, I was
going to pass on it until I found out that the Lyres were opening. As
soon as RE's set started, though, I had the same reaction as most of
the crowd: Holy sh*t! You can hear people just *screaming* as they
were hit by the assault of RE's power-trio back-up band.

- No Okkervil River here, this show reminded me of Led Zeppelin more
than anything else. Not in terms of being blues-based, but because
the lead guitarist put out granite-hard riffs on his Les Paul that
were reminiscent of Jimmy Page's sound.

- The combination of the music with the sci-fi projections in the
background added up to one great show. I do think "You're Gonna Miss
Me" could have been more of a rave-up, but that is a minor complaint.

- I had hoped that Roky would do a song with the Lyres, or vice versa.
That didn't happen, but the Lyres did do their excellent cover of "We
Sell Soul." See the separate upload containing their set.

- Also included are a few crappy photos that I took.
