Notes

Albion Band documentary (1980) [DVD (PAL) transferred from VHS]

Broadcast in 1980, Filmed by BBC Bristol mainly during 1979. 45 minutes.

Transferred to dvd from a vhs master my brother made at the time of broadcast. Quality is reasonable for it's age. There is a small amount of tracking interference at the very start. Anyone got a better copy?

I have created dvds from these files being seeded using both Nero and ImgBurn. These discs were then tested successfully on 2 pcs and also the dvd player for my tv.

This is PAL format but I have had some success in my dvds playing on modern NTSC machines - and it should play on a pc regardless of where you are.

From Wikipedia:
The Albion Country Band, (also known as The Albion Dance Band and The Albion Band) were an English electric folk band, brought together and led by musician Ashley Hutchings, one of the founders of Fairport Convention. Generally considered one of the most important groupings in the genre, it has contained or been associated with a large proportion of major English folk performers in its long and fluid history.

I believe this broadcast was part of the Arena series.

Features Ashley Hutchings with contributions from and/or perfomances by (alphabetically):
