Notes

A profile of rock music's gypsy king, the man who was a member of The Small Faces but preferred to pursue his pastoral, hippie dreams at the expense of stardom. He rubbed shoulders with the aristocracy of British rock including Clapton, Rod Stewart, Townshend and The Rolling Stones, but while the others went on to fame, fortune and respectability, Ronnie pursued a solo career that distinguishes the pre-punk period of the mid-70s, and that still sounds fresh today.

His solo career was prematurely ended when he began to succumb to the multiple sclerosis that had killed his mother.

With tributes from Eric Clapton, Ian McLagan, Kenney Jones and Pete Townshend. Plus contributions from Ronnie's widow, Susan Gallegos, and archive material and interviews with Ronnie himself, this is a portrait of a true original.
