Notes: Tracks 1-8 recorded & edited by Ian Sommerville in Paris, May 1965. Released as Call Me Burroughs by Gaît Frogé's English Book Shop, Paris in October 1965.
Track 9 recorded in London, 1970. Released in October 1971 on a one-sided LP with accompanying book in an edition of 99 copies by Unicorn Press, Brighton.
According to the publisher, a good many of the records were destroyed by heat so not all copies of the book were accompanied by the record.
One of the most difficult Burroughs' items.
This Burroughs bootleg is sourced from vynil. So there is some crackling throughout the tracks.
While 'Call Me Burroughs' has been released on CD in 1995 this edition is still the only source for the ultra rare 'Ali's Smile' track.
