Robert Fripp, Frippertronics, live at the Washington Ethical Society, Washington DC, June 17, 1979. Recorded from the second row in a relatively small room filled with creaky metal folding chairs on a very rainy, humid day, using a Yamaha portable cassette recorder with manually set levels. From the master cassettes (lousy BASF conventional bias). This transfer was made in 2013 by playing the master tapes on an Akai GX F31 cassette deck into a PC, where the signal was captured via Goldwave. The channel with the strongest signal was copied and the copy was pasted into the opposite channel for true mono sound. The spoken word interludes were EQed and volume-adjusted for greater clarity.
