Notes

I'll be honest . . . I have NO idea about ANYTHING with this show. :)

Here's the story on it.

My aunt was married to Rick Danko's brother. (They've sadly both just passed away in the last couple of years). One thing that I scored out of their collection though was a CDR labelled "Bootleg" . . . and that's it. No date, no venue, no nothing.

It's Rick and Levon, and from the '83 touring that they did. That much I've (easily) put together.

The CDR as I got it, it had 2 second gaps at the end of the tracks, so it was obviously authored poorly from the original tape. I've taken those gaps out.

It was also RIDDLED with HORRIBLE tape splicing sounds. The first three tracks, they flow seamlessly. After that, every other track (with the exception of the last two), it's like the original taper stopped the tape at the end of every song, and started it up again (sometimes several times) before the next song began.

So, I can't even verify that the order of the tracks is correct. I have no idea if this is a full show or not (I'm suspecting not).

Pretty much all banter in between tracks is missing, so, I can't even derive any clues there. Other than towards the end, Levon does say "thank you neighbours" . . . . I don't know if I can infer that this is somewhere near Woodstock, NY because of that line, or, if he's just being neighbourly.

So . . . I'm uploading this in hopes that maybe someone out there can shed some information of when and where this was . . . or a correct order of the tracks (if they are indeed incorrectly ordered). If it's a show that's already up here (although none seemed to have a track listing that would jive with this one), then I apologize.

If nothing else, hope someone else can enjoy this show too.

I'd give it a sound quality of about a B throughout.

Thanks
