A sunny Sunday afternoon in East London some 25 years ago just 400 yards from
where I lived in Victoria Park Road between 1969 and 1973 for £3.75 per week!
Phil Beer went to the wrong Victoria Park and turned up towards the end of the
set. This was their dance band line up which featured a youthfull Simon Care who
is still a member of the Albion Christmas Band, and also manages the reformed young Albion Band.
I stood about 100 yards from the stage although the sound is fairly close up on
the recording. A number of the songs/dance tunes were not announced so any
suggestions welcomed.
