Notes:

This was a great show from a great tour. This perfect soundboard recording has been in circulation,
but I've never seen it on Dime, so here you go, direct from the master. This band was driving down
the road with the headlights off on some of these songs (in a good way--listen to Oldam yell out
the chords to "The Weaker Soldier," and yet it's still my favorite version ever . . .). We got permission
from the soundguy to plug in, and a friend of mine used his minidisc to record this set. By the way,
that's me in the front row singing "A Taste of Honey" after that unmistakable chord during the
soundcheck, and Oldham sings "Tasting much sweeter . . ." For the record, I consider that a duet.
The greatest songwriter and performer of his generation deserves more credit, and I hope you
listen to this and buy every album, cd, single, 7" of his you can find! Cheers!
