This is a very good quality stereo audience recording from Iggy's early 1977 tour with Bowie,
from a tape of the 'Iggy and Ziggy' LP...I remember reading the full show is 'out there' years
ago. Can someone share that, please?

Personally I would rate this as the highest audio quality after the Chicago FM recordings,
judging by other recordings I have heard from this tour, it is not surprising the recording
made it to bootleg.

Speed correction and slight de-clicking was carried out : more abrasive de-clicking can cut
into synth tracks and since there is a keyboard / synth used (by Bowie) I erred on the side
of caution. So rustle - and some clicks - can be heard, but it's better than it was (I
checked, as I wondered if the de-click had worked at first!). Another reason for not doing
too much on this recording is that is from a tape of the LP, not the LP itself, which I don't
have, and as the full length tape maybe out there...so simply a little minor de-clicking and
track splitting through CD Wave was all I did with the raw file.

Oddly I noticed that the ending of 'I Need Somebody' was left in before Search and Destroy
starts...I've checked details of the LP online and it did not contain the track (well not in
full, according to the tracklist I saw) so presumably that's how the LP was mastered.

I do get the impression, on listening through this that the full length tape would be
magnificient...so if you do have it, please share.

In the meantime, hope you enjoy this.

FANCY HEARING MORE IGGY!?

I'm keen to get hold of these...

9 April 77 Seattle Full length recording
18 November 77 Santa Monica Full length Recording
14.05.80 Montpellier, Grand Odeon (I have a lot from this period now, but this is apparently
a fine quality recording so could be interesting)
23.05.80 Lyon, Palais d' Hiver (FM broadcast *stereo* version if it exists, or with more than
7 tracks if that exists?)
3.11.81 Club Foot Austin,Texas (includes Shakin' All Over!)
11.11.82 Calgary, McEwan (FM broadcast)
17.06.83 Osaka, Koseinenkin Hall (soundboard)
29.06.83 Sydney Capitol Theatre
FM broadcasts from the '96 tour...I have two but I think there 3-4 in total (I'll update on
what I don't have).

How about you?

If you are after the above or any other Iggy gigs, if you find / make time to seed something
that's unusual or simply some Iggy that's not been seeded for a while, if just 1 in 20-40
downloaders did the same there's a good chance more Iggy that you've been after could turn up!

If, like me, you've spent a lot of time combing the net for long lost Iggy recordings, think
of how something you are after could just turn up here - after someone who's got something
you would like picks up something seeded here and likes that too!

Iggy karma!? :)

If Dime torrenting isn't your thing, there are other options...uploading through other forms,
CDR by mail etc, let's get more circulating here!
