Notes:
JEMS master recording. This is a very good to excellent sounding audience recording capturing Elvis Costello & the Attractions touring in support of Armed Forces, on the 29th date of their 4th U.S. tour. This performance comes one night after "idiotic remarks made during a drunken brawl in Columbus, Ohio." Elvis alludes to the incident during the intro to "Accidents Will Happen."
JEMS recorded the band four times this week -- March 10 in Chicago, March 15 in Columbus, March 16 in Detroit, and March 17 in Dayton. The Dayton recording was torrented recently, and Chicago and Columbus will be up soon.
Additional notes:
- "Alison" is missing about 20 seconds at 0:31.
- tape flip near the end of "Lipstick Vogue"; only a few seconds missing.
- the next song "Watching The Detectives" fades in on the opening notes.
- Detroit is name-checked several times throughout.
- rudimentary artwork included in torrent.
