Despite its super budget price this is far from any kind of "essential recordings" compilation by Louis Jordan. Simply put, it's not even a decent greatest-hits set, either. Shoddy sound, presentation and only ten cuts do not do justice to Jordan at all. Avoid this and look for one of the many fine MCA collections issued by Universal.
