Notes:

This is my first upload on Dime, so please bare with me if something goes wrong. I recorded the show with a H2 Zoom “Handy Recorder” that I borrowed from my brother, so I wasn’t sure how the quality would turn out, but I’m pleasantly surprised. I did nothing to the files except add track breaks.

Opening act The Babblers took me by surprise, and I missed about 5 songs of their set. I’m really bummed about this as The Babblers are the same band as the one that backed Will Oldham for the main set, and he sang on every song, taking the lead vocals on at least half of them. Plus they played the Kevin Coyne and Dagmar Krause masterpiece Babble in its entirety. And it was really incredible. I hope someone else recorded that set. What I did record (which starts halfway through “I Confess”) I will upload as a separate torrent shortly. I also have some other uncirculated Bonnie recordings that I will upload soon.

Bonnie seldom disappoints, and this show on a cold December evening in Charlotte is no exception. I love the performance of “That’s What Our Love Is.” The Neighborhood Theatre is a small converted old movie house in the arts district of Charlotte. It’s a great place to hear a show. Any help with some of the song titles would be most appreciated.

Thanks to the Dime moderators for helping me too.

Enjoy!
