Crowded House does "Everybody's Talkin'" with predictably welcome results. I streamed it at the highest rate available, used Total Recorder to record it to wav, then FLAC'ed it.

Total Recorder allows you to record streaming audio before it even hits the soundcard. This is as good as I know how to get it.
