The first five songs are from the 1980s sessions with Gary Usher.
Tracks 9-14 are demos of songs intended for his first solo album.
Tracks 16-20 are from the first version of Sweet Insanity. While the sound quality on the Vigotone bootleg of the second version is much better, I actually prefer these earlier mixes. They do sound better here (and are even in stereo) than on "Sweet Insanity Outtakes".
"Let's Get Together" was later reworked as "The Waltz" for Brian's solo album "Gettin' In Over My Head".
Another highlight is the early demo version of Don't Let Her Know She's An Angel (track 15), which is from around 1985 and has very different lyrics than either of the later versions.
