El Mocambo 1977 [S&K Tape Source] Remastered by Falo
This is a transfer of a low generation cassette tape that was sent to me by Stewed&Keefed
It is much better sound than both the recent El Mocambo releases [DAC and IMP] and all the previous LPs and VGPs and crap. This is the best sounding tape to surface of these performances.
This has much more warmth and depth to it plus wide wide stereo sound on all tracks.
The acetate transfers are the best heard yet. More complete and missing the hiss of all the circulating high generation transfers. I separated the tracks in Soundforge. I fixed SBEs and converted to FLAC in TLH.
It has been speed corrected and it was wonderfully remastered by Falo!
"Worried About You" is a touch overloaded at the beginning but evens out.
"Crazy Mama" is nearly complete at over 3 minutes long. I believe that makes this the longest version now in circulation.
All thanks for this really great find goes to the tape owner Stewed&Keefed who was happy to share with Stones fans.
