David Bowie - The Cher Show 23rd November 1975 (Vinyl Rip)
CBS TV Show Broadcast 23/11/75.
Label: Vinyl rip taken from 1977 vinyl "Thin White Duke' bootleg 2LP on Idle Mind Productions label serial number IMP1114 A-D.
Audio Source: TV Broadcast
Lineage: for example: Vinyl --> Audacity --> WAV --> FLAC 8 using xACT --> MWP
Number of Discs: 1
Artwork: http://www.mindwarppavilion.org/cpg/displayimage.php?pos=-286
Total running time: 11m 03s
Notes: This is an overlooked Bowie appearance from the height of his Los Angeles period just before 'Station To Station' was released just 6 weeks later. He sings a lovely version of 'Can You Hear Me' with Cher and then they sing a duet of 50s, 60s and 70s classics bracketed by Young Americans backed by a full studio orchestra and backing singers. This is taken from my original 1977 copy of 'The Thin White Duke' 2LP recorded directly from the vinyl with no amendments. The track is kept as one single long piece as it appears on the vinyl.
