Continuing in the vein of the original 4CD "Made In Canada" set, here are more examples of Canadian music history. Tracks 1, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 19, 23 and 24 on this volume are from CD source; the remainder are restored from vinyl.
"Lois Fletcher - I Am What I Am" is edited from two different sources. The majority is from the K-Tel LP TC-215, but they edited out the bridge from that version. It was replacced by the bridge section from an inferior transfer of the 45. It was the only one I could find. Even though it sticks out rather like a sore thumb, at least we have the full version until I can locate a mint copy of the single to redo it.
"The Incinerators - Disco's In The Garbage" was a novelty record made in Winnipeg by George Raymond for 92 CITI-FM. The announcer is Brother Jake Edwards. It did not chart nationally. It was the last record on the Infinity label before MCA shut it down for having lost the company millions of dollars.
"The Scottie-Pete Gang - Beach Bum" was a novelty record made in Hamilton by CKOC DJs Scott Harris and Pete Daly, with musical backing by members of Tom Wilson & The Florida Razors and The Shakers, with support vocals by Visions. It did not chart nationally,
either, but on the CKOC Top 100 Hits of 1982, it made #54.
