I decided to make a straight to cdr transfer of this odd 8-track I found at a garage sale years ago. The artwork is black and white, and it is a single 8-track, and I believe the US version on 8-track was two tapes. The really odd thing is the running order. It’s almost as if they did not one channel to be all The Band. I know timing has something to do with track order on 8-tracks, but that does not explain all the changes. Why on track 4 does LARS and HWY61 change order? Some edits sound great, others are a bit jarring. Sadly the 8 Track died before I could get the 4th channel to transfer. Luckily I had a cassette version I did when I first purchased the tape. There are some rough spots on the tape, but this is done for the completists who want to hear it all. I did the tracks just like the 8-track, and left it as four tracks. Enjoy.
