Review from The Fingerprint File :
1968 SURREY REHEARSAL
VINYL GANG PRODUCTIONS VGP 108
London, UK 3/68, R.G. Jones Studios
7.75m - STU
Continuous recordings; additional guitar by Mick Jagger; Bill Wyman & Brian Jones not present. Remarkable recordings ! Sound is just too good for ears considering the tape used for the LP. Quite an epoch bootleg release for sure. Not so sure Brian Jones was absent - sounds like him at times, less it be Jagger ? These tracks sound like "Altamont" in the studio...

Review from Rolling Stones FAQ :
Surrey 3/68 reh + int; 45 min; 5.5 m; "1968 Surrey Rehearsals"
Interesting jams with the origins of Jumping Jack Flash, Stray Cat Blues, and many other classics. Brian is not present; Mick and Keith laugh about it. This was apparently recorded on a portable tape recorder by a visiting reporter, and the quality is not very good. The Japanese CD is better than the original LP.
