if you have seen this floating around this is all that exists for this show. chazz avery was nice enough to share his master cassette tape of this show over on the stooges forum. you may of noticed this circulating with the date of either january, 1974; or january 19th, 1974. after sharing a short story about the show and particularly the date he determined that the january date could not be correct. he dated it the next month of '74 because it was definitely before the final show on february 9th at michigan palace.
the show had poor sound as it is which also contributed to the sound of the tape. the entire show was recorded on cassette and later copied to reel to reel. after it was dubbed to the reel the original cassette was recorded over and all that exists on it to this day is this one song. the reel was recorded over apparently as well and his extensive search through old reels makes it seem that none of the rest of the recording survives.
according to chazz all circulating copies of this recording prior to this releease were sourced from a second generation dub he made for his friend, monty wickerham - who has been named in a few iggy books and nice enough to share his masters here, back in the mid-'80s.
