Beatles: Magical Mystery Tour (German Apple Stereo 1C 072-04 449) - 'Downgrade'
I recently got to know the guy on the internet community and he wrote he ripped some of the Beatles vinyl albums by his lo-fi equipments.
He ripped just for his own listening preasure but I asked him to send the files because I was just curious.
Before he sent them, he remided me not to expect about the quality for the 'Downgrade'.
However, when I listened the files I was surprised for the lively, punchy sound.
I had doubt that he EQd the files but he wrote he never did it except decreased the groove noise between songs by using some plugins.
I've never heard any Beatles albums with this kind of sound so I asked him to allow me to release his rip here on Demonoid.
He kindly permitted me to do it on condition of not being named otherwise I can name him for descriptive purposes.
So, in the meantime, I named him 'Donglejob' after my account here.
He wrote that he is not a audiophile (I don't think so, though) and he uses some worthless equipments.
Anyway seems it's almost embarrassing for him to show the details of his equipments.
All I can say is, he is using some junks that he bought at flea market at the price of under 100$ except for the Audio Processor to rip the sound on PC.
Only exception is, he uses the cartridge leads which was made by his audiophile friend.
Then, cartridge leads makes the sound so different?
I can't tell I'm not a audiophile either, unfortunately.
Well, maybe I'm overwriting the details. You can judge for yourself, anyway.
