DAVID BOWIE THE COMPLETE UNRELEASED BBC + OTHER SESSIONS 1966-1972 Flac

This version is a slightly expanded version compared to a version I originally shared on Yeeshkul way back in 2008.
I've included a couple of extra tracks and interviews that weren't on the Yeeskul upload, in total I think there are 5 extras on this version compared to that 2008 original.

That original share in 2008, I've subsequently seen turn up online under various guises most notably on Godfather records.

Unfortunately I lost the original files due to a hard drive crash, but recently I have dug out all my silvers with the intention of slowly working my way through them to
share on here.

This prompted me to rebuild this fantastic collection of the Unreleased Bowie BBC Sessions to share with you on here. This project really
started out just for me so that instead of trawling through the half dozen or so silver discs all the tracks are in one folder and easy to access and listen to. In fact for my I use I've actually
incorporated the Official BBC release. If you follow the info later in this info file you'll be able to do the same if you so wish.

I have also scanned the various discs and artwork of these boots which I have used and own.

There is no doubt that these recordings when coupled with the Official cd "BOWIE AT THE BEEB" EMI Records, it gives just about as a comprehensive list as one can possibly hope to have.

As far as I'm aware the only recording missing is "Waiting For The Man" from the Sunday Show 5-2-70. Apparently it was recorded by the Beeb along with a six minute + version of "Memory Of A Free Festival,
but because of time constraints it was never broadcast, plus we only get an edited three minute version of it on the official release,
furthermore unfortunately it would appear these tracks never survived the infamous BBC cull/clearout of a number of years ago.

Most of the information regarding for song running order for example, have been gleaned from the official booklet that
comes with "BOWIE AT THE BEEB" cd.

However this seems to be at variance with some of the Bowie fan sites who invariably list a different track running order.

I've purposely stuck to the information in the official booklet, and to be honest, the main thing is that all the tracks are here, so feel free to put them into whatever order you like.

I've listed all the Bowie sessions (as far as I'm aware of) in date order, what songs were played in each session and more importantly on which recordings these songs are available including the official release.

It can be a little confusing as the date Bowie recorded the material is more often than not, not the same as the date it was broadcast.

I just wish Bowie had released a boxed set of everything he recorded for the Beeb, which would have cleared up any ambiguity.

NB Songs that are available officially through EMI Records are marked * and +, and are here for information only, and are only
mentioned for the purpose of historic record/document.

I have also included a version of "All The Madmen" from a session at Trident Studio which technically isn't a BBC session but it's such a great version
of the song with Ronson in full flow and is miles better than the official release in my opion.

The scanned images of the silver discs I've used and which I own, are mainly for your information. Feel free to use them if you want.

Unfortunately I can't share these discs as each and everyone of them contain Officially Released material.

The sound quality of this compilation is overall superb.

However some recordings aren't as good especially some of the 1967 and also an odd track from 1972, which I would rate
only at VG+ or 6/10

Revisiting this project I felt that these tracks spread across these eight silver discs or so that I own,
and which cost me in excess of £112 back in the day should be shared, once again.

I hope you enjoy it

Cheers
