Andy Summers
Andrew James Summers (born 31 December 1942 in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, England) is an English guitarist and composer best known for his work in The Police.
Summers's primary guitars are the Fender Telecaster when playing rock, and Gibson electric guitars when playing jazz fusion and jazz. His playing has been influenced by years of jazz and classical music studies, as well as his work in new age, rock, and other musical genres.
Victor Biglione
Arranger and composer, Victor Biglione is a superb acoustic and electric guitarist. Born in Argentina, he moved to Brazil where he has lived for 30 years. After studying at Berklee College of music, in the States, Biglione developed a fondness for American Jazz. Combining various influence, Victor is an expert at Latin/Brazilian jazz.
Biglione has released many albums worldwide, including his debut in 1986. In 1994, he toured Canada's jazz festivals and performed at the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York. Biglione has recorded and performed with many artists, including Steve Hackett, Lee Konitz and Manhattan Transfer. In 1997, Andy Summers invited him to record the duo album 'String of Desire' that received warm reviews. Summers and Biglione toured Latin America and played the New York Guitar Festival 2002. The pair make a magical guitar duo.

Summers’ work with fellow guitar virtuoso Victor Biglione has been especially fruitful. Their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Strings Of Desire’ led to their second CD ‘Splendid Brazil’, recorded in 2005. Once again, the pair perform duets on acoustic guitars with no other instrumental accompaniment. Yet such is their empathy, they can provide all the melodic and rhythmic structures needed to produce entirely satisfying music.
They concentrated on familiar standards for their first album, but ‘Splendid Brazil’ celebrates the kind of material more familiar to Victor Biglione, one of South America’s foremost musicians - yet the two musicians complement each in a stylistic meeting of hearts and minds. The sparkling interplay on ‘Campina Grande’, for example, is a splendid example of their unique telepathy.
