Notes:
Surprisingly, this one doesn't seem to be in circulation and I'm not sure why. It was an FM broadcast that apparently went out across the nation (DJ makes reference to this). Yet, I've never seen it in the Pretenders bootlegs web pages and it rarely shows up in traders pages as well.

So here it is, and it's a very good show. I took this straight from the cassette and did no processing at all, other than to remove the unctuous Sky Daniels wherever possible from this. This was during the height of when WLUP-FM (The Loop) was a Chicago rock powerhouse. Black "Loop 97.9" T-shirts could be seen everywhere in Chicago and elsewhere, and this was just about a year after the infamous Disco Demolition stunt at Comiskey Park. To me, Sky Daniels represented everything wrong with rock radio and rock DJs at the time, and so he has been excised. But there is enough of him left if you want a taste.
