I did not rip this CD, but I'm uploading it as a technical upgrade to the same SP-106 boot located at http://www.hungercity.org/details.php?id=9285. Neither upload has logfiles or other proof of lineage, but my version has the advantage of proper track splits; the other rip must have used the wrong offset or something, as the audio for the start of most songs is tacked onto the end of the previous track, which of course means that the beginnings of most FLAC files are clipped off a bit. My upload also includes IMO a better set of scans, which were provided along with the audio files; however they did not include a scan of the CD, so for the sake of completeness I borrowed it from the earlier HC upload (thanks to bagpuss1 for that).
Note that the back cover scan as well as the info file included with the earlier HC upload list the live tracks as being broadcast on "The Johnny Carson Show", which is incorrect based upon comments on the earlier torrent and my own research. It actually was broadcast on "The Johnny Cash Show". The back cover scan included with my upload correctly references "The Johnny Cash Show" and mirrors the scan posted at http://www.bobsboots.com/CDs/cd-d42.html. It's a little baffling how the back cover scan in the earlier HC upload ended up with incorrect info; I can only speculate that someone modified an original scan, created their own version, or was in possession of a sloppy bootleg of a bootleg.
Quadraphonic mixes of officially released songs comprise the last 5 tracks on this CD; for that reason they are omitted in both my torrent and the earlier HC upload.
Also check out JTT's vinyl transfer of this material at http://www.hungercity.org/details.php?id=15310. It was made from an unlabeled 1st pressing made in Holland in 1975, and JTT claims it is the best source for these sessions.
