The band recorded these two songs at the BBC, and then lip sync'd to them during the broadcast. They are obviously totally unique performances. According to Mick Skidmore, the current SPIRIT producer and archivist, during the guitar solo on one of the two songs, Randy did the "Look ma, no hands" routine, making certain everybody knew it was a lip sync performance! A picture of this moment exists, and was used in various publications over the years such as NME, MOJO, etc. "Turn To The Right" fades out at the guitar solo, so possibly this was the closing song of the broadcast?
