Samedi 25 juillet - 21h
nuit douce et piquante
sweet ' n ' sour night
TERRY RILEY Duo (U.S.A./Italie)
DJ RITU'S ASIAN EQUATION (Royaume-Uni/Pakistan)
Fulfilling his destiny, Terry Riley, velvet revolutionary, has radically transformed musical rules, basing himself, among other things, on the techniques of repetition traditional to the Indian sub-continent. Here, actor and witness of history, but above all a musician (and what a musician !), on piano, accompanied by the Italian double-bass player Scodannibio, he will also be a witness to the stunning London-Pakistani new wave, mixing techno music, sitars, tablas and dhols in a total concept, at once festive and ambitious. This young generation will mix perfectly with the juvenile outlook of the master. The evening will be both sweet and tender, spicy and hot.
