Probably the most underrated album in the entire TFC discography, Songs from Northern Britain contains a handful of their absolutely finest songs. In Ain't That Enough, Gerard Love created the quintessential Fanclub song and Norman Blake's Start Again and Planets run it close. For those three alone, Rolling Stone's 2 star review is absurd, but there's plenty more here to make this another classic.
