2012 mono 45rpm vinyl from the Magical Mystery Tour deluxe box set
This is a rip from the 45rpm mono vinyl EP set that was included
in the 2012 DVD/Blu-Ray deluxe box set.
While a lot of attention has been directed at the new stereo vinyl remaster releases,
I though it would be worthwhile to take a listen to the mono vinyl EP discs that
were included in the deluxe box set.
Many folks appear to have high expectations for the vinyl mono LPs that are
expected to be released in the spring of 2013. We won't know until they arrive but
perhaps this may be a preview of what to expect.

The setup used:
-Technics SL-1900 direct drive turntable running an Ortofon 2M Black cartridge
-Underwood/Parts Connexion performance-modified PS Audio GCPH phono preamp
-E-MU 1212M sound card
The audio was captured at 192/32-bit (float)
All pops & clicks were removed manually in Audition. No EQ or NR has been added.
Sample rate conversion to 96kHz & 44.1kHz and down-converting to 16-bit audio was accomplished
via iZotope RX2 Advanced
Artwort is included for those who care for it.
