Notes

ancient Flac attacks [K-M]

OK, this is more crude, amateurish noisemongering. Let's see how many citizens of Demonoid we can tempt into downloading with that line. What we have here is not only the Modds' all-time punk scorcher "Leave My House," but also three different groups named the Mods. The ones who did "My Baby's Gone" are from Houston, Texas, and their single was on the Kool label. The jokers responsible for the two-headed monster "I Give You An Inch (And You Take A Mile)" and "You've Got Another Think Coming" were from Toledo, Ohio, and on the Peck label. And the Mods of "Ritual" fame came from the (New) Jersey Shore (Revelation VII label). Apparently, none of these people knew much about mods and rockers. The Modds, who hailed from Missouri, couldn't even spell the word "mods" - now that is so utterly punk rock, I don't even know what to say. But there are many other great numbers here from the Liberty Bell, the Lil' Boy Blues, the Little Bits, the Live Wires, etc...And the Litter!! The Litter and their completely berzerk rendition of "I'm A Man."

Thanks go to bosshoss, the foremost conservator of the 60s garage sound, for so generously sharing these GREAT rips of this incomparable music.
