In George Gimarc's book, "Post Punk Diary: 1980-1982", on page 12 he mentions a
February 6, show at Liverpool Univiersity. Elvis Costello played an unannounced
show under the name of the Horace Barlow Band to work out some new material.
They were "the third act at the bottom of a bill featuring Rockpile and the
Fabulous Thunderbirds". Nick Lowe thanks the Fabulous T-Birds and Horace Barlow
for their opening sets, so that would fix the date as February 6, 1980.
