Continuing in the vein of the original 4CD "Made In Canada" set, here are more examples of Canadian music history. Tracks 3, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 15, 16 and 19 on this volume are from CD source; the remainder are from restored from vinyl.
Silver Hawk was a group from Michigan who qualified for Canadian content because they recorded in Toronto.
"Mashmakhan - Days When We Are Free" reached #24 in RPM on 06-25-70, then DJs flipped the record over and "As The Years Go By" continued from #19 on 07-02 as the featured side.
The LP version of "Doucette - Mama Let Him Play" is on Volume 5. The version featured here is only on the radio promo single. It is remixed to mono and heavily edited.
On "Hot Knife Boogie," The Good Brothers are backed by The Powder Blues (uncredited).
The 8:44 version of "Aldo Nova - Fantasy" presented here is from a mega-rare 12" single for which I can find no catalogue number listed on the internet. There are two 12" singles of this record, with the other extended version running 6:14.
